John Fortner

John Fortner is a Professor at Yale University within the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, where he is also the Director of Undergraduate Studies.  Prior to Yale,  Fortner was faculty at Washington University in St. Louis (2010–2018).  He held postdoctoral fellowships at Rice University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ).  He recieved a B.S. from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. from Rice University.
