Biography:
Carl Geiselhart is a rising senior in Yale College from Montgomery, New York majoring in chemical engineering. His current work in the Fortner lab, under the mentorship of Bugra Sahin, focuses on the development of tunable hydrogels for water desalination. Past research includes work on Yale’s West Campus with thin-film semiconductor materials for applications in solar cell technologies. In his free time, Carl enjoys biking, skiing, and playing the organ.
